Your iPhone is capable of more than just selfies and food pics, it’s a powerful photographic tool that can be used to capture and share your vision of the world. In this hands-on class, students discover how to create frame-worthy images with an iPhone. Participants will learn the basic techniques of image composition, tips on shooting portraits, and the camera apps and editing tools that can elevate a photograph from a casual snapshot to a thoughtful and personal image.

Intro to Off-Camera Lighting
In this two-day workshop students will learn the basic fundamentals of using a single off-camera flash to shoot powerful, dynamic portraits in a variety of environments. The course will cover camera settings, types of lights, modifiers, wireless flash triggers, and other accessories as well as how to engage with your subject to get amazing images every time. We'll also delve into post-production workflow—from organizing and importing images using Adobe Lightroom to final pass touch-ups in Photoshop. The course is designed for photographers who are new to off-camera lighting techniques.
